This is a picture of us performing at the Schokoladen in Berlin-Mitte in 2009.
In an earlier stage of my life, I was a children's rights activist. When I was 13, I founded the children's rights group K.R.Ä.T.Z.Ä. together with friends, in order to fight against age discrimination and for equal rights for children. At the age of 16, I was one of two minors who filed a constitutional complaint at the highest court in Germany in order to claim our right to vote. One year later, I started boycotting the chemistry lessons at my school as a protest against compulsory learning. You can read all about it on K.R.Ä.T.Z.Ä.'s homepage, although only some of the documents are available in English.
I'm still sympathetic to most of our basic ideas. In one of my philosophical papers, I argue for the view that the age limit for voting is morally unjustified und undemocratic (see here).
